Job Summary
RN Med Surg Diabetic Endo role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute-care setting. Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and each shift, performing procedures and documenting care, administering prescribed medications and monitoring therapeutic response, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Requires Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BSN to be completed within 24 months, Texas RN license (or compact), and BLS; 1 year acute care hospital experience. Night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am with rotating weekends at Medical City Dallas (HCA Healthcare).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Associates Degree okay to hire, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, BLS, required and issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- 1 year acute care hospital experience
