RN Med Surg Diabetic Endo role at Medical City Dallas (HCA Healthcare) – full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. Responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage). Act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring outstanding patient experience and positive outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing patient status at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and documenting care, administering prescribed medications and monitoring responses, responding to patient requests, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Education responsibilities include translating complex medical terminology for complete understanding. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN within 24 months of hire, Texas (or compact) RN license, BLS, and 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
