Job Summary
RN provides patient-centered care in a Med Surg unit per nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering medications, assisting physicians, developing and evaluating care plans, responding to emergencies, educating patients/families, adhering to infection control, documenting care, and participating in quality improvement. Requires active RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. Day shift, full-time role in Hattiesburg, MS; eligible for education assistance and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
