Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating activities for all assigned staff. Function within organizational policies to demonstrate professional growth and accountability. This role is available for new graduates or nurses with at least one year of hospital experience. Candidates must hold a current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license, along with BCLS certification. Additional specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP are required depending on the specific unit assignment, with new hires granted up to 180 days to complete applicable training.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS; PALS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
