Job Summary
RN Med/Surg Days in Columbia County providing quality nursing services within the patient care team. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating care plans; maintaining documentation; patient advocacy and family education; participation in performance improvement; ensuring professional licensing and ongoing training; mentoring and supporting other nurses; and upholding confidentiality and safety standards. Requires active RN licensure (state or compact) and BLS certification; diploma/associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing with preferred bachelor’s. Day shift; inpatient hospital setting; Wellstar/AU Health system.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
