Job Summary
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds standards of professional performance involving ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and quality of practice. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes for adult patients with varied medical and surgical diagnoses, including bariatric, total joint, abdominal, and podiatry cases, on a 36-hour night shift rotation at Zeeland Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associate in Nursing
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
