RN - Med/Surg

Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions and administer ordered medications as prescribed. Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age, including basic self-care activities, while formulating and evaluating teaching plans that include family members. Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, assisting with procedures requiring technical and manual skills. Identify and address psychosocial needs of patients and families, communicating with social services regarding hospital and post-discharge requirements. Prioritize patient care effectively, promote safety by reducing unnecessary harm, and demonstrate cost-effective practices for supplies and charge items. Maintain BLS certification within 14 days of hire and pursue ACLS/PALS specialty certifications.
