Job Summary
Organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for unit patients while planning, implementing, revising, and delegating nursing care. Perform necessary technical skills based on education, expertise, and unit requirements, incorporating teaching into all aspects of nursing practice. Provide care to a diverse adult patient population on a 23-bed acute medical/surgical unit, including ortho, diabetic, bowel, NG tubes, wounds, and simple surgeries. Requires a BSN, Texas RN license, current BLS, and at least one year of recent Med-Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Texas RN license or compact license
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- at least one (1) year of Recent Med-Surg RN experience in an acute care hospital
