Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Med-Surg units using the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment. Contribute to secure point-of-care safety and exceptional outcomes through a patient perspective.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
