Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive nursing care on the Medical/Surgical Unit by performing thorough patient assessments, gathering and interpreting clinical data, and administering medications per provider orders. Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families while educating them on care plans and post-discharge instructions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to review preoperative checklists and accurately document all interventions in the EMR. This full-time, permanent 3x12 shift position (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) offers a supportive environment for new graduates or experienced RNs to grow their skills in a rural healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment
