Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, reassess patient status, and coordinate daily plans of care for assigned Med Surg patients. Administer medications, manage IV fluids and parenteral nutrition, and provide patient/family education and discharge planning. Monitor clinical parameters, recognize changes in condition, and report risks or variations to the physician and team. Perform specialized care for high-risk patients, including pain management, restraint evaluation, and abuse assessment. Document all interventions, orders, and care evaluations accurately while maintaining infection control standards and safe patient handling. Collaborate with the health team, delegate tasks as appropriate, and participate in performance improvement activities. Work night shifts (7pm–7am) as a part-time RN with a sign-on bonus available.
