Job Summary
RN Med Surg 7B — provide patient-centered care on the Med/Surg 7B unit using the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain professional accountability. Requires nursing program graduation (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and an active RN license in the hiring state (or compact license); applicable certifications (BLS and multiple unit-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NRP, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM) as required by unit. Prolonged standing and walking; ability to push/pull 50 lbs; night shift; part-time scheduling at Mercy. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/STABLE/C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required
