Job Summary
Manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for assigned specialty areas such as Emergency/Triage, Critical Care, or Labor & Delivery. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements while identifying and resolving issues affecting patient care delivery. Develop and implement policies, maintain quality monitoring systems, and monitor the budget to ensure efficient service delivery. Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, and evaluation of staff. Prioritize high levels of associate, patient, and physician satisfaction. Requires Registered Nurse licensure, 3 years of experience, 1 year of leadership experience, and previous ED experience. Full-time position at Ascension St Vincent Indianapolis Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- 3 years of experience
- 1 year of cumulative leadership experience
- Previous ED experience
- Leadership experience as a RN
