Job Summary
RN Manager Orthopedics responsible for daily operations of a designated clinical area - J6 Orthopedics. Leads and coordinates clinical care, allocates resources to promote safe, high-quality nursing practice, and integrates clinical, human resource, and financial data to support decision making. Promotes evidence-based practice, collaborates with nursing leadership on organizational planning and initiatives, and participates in staff development and retention within Mission Health culture. Recruits and supports new employees to maintain a growth-oriented, collaborative environment aligned with the Mission Health Guiding Principles.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN with MSN
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina (NCBON) or eNLC license
- National Certification in area of specialty within 1 year of accepting role
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Minimum five years of recent nursing experience; two years in relevant clinical hospital experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- Previous leadership experience (preferred)
