Job Summary
Oversees the NICU and continuing care nursery operations, providing leadership in nursing practice, staff development, budgeting and quality improvement to ensure high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency; develops and updates policies, mentors staff, conducts performance evaluations, and leads data-driven initiatives to improve safety, outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or ASHI required
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation or NALS - Neonatal Advanced Life Support issued by AHA/ARC/ASHI required
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required
- 2-4 years of NICU nursing experience with Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of direct experience in leadership preferred
