RN Manager - NICU and Pediatric

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while scheduling, leading, and coordinating unit activities on assigned shifts. Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel by completing periodic evaluations, coaching, and discipline as needed. Establish standards of care, monitor critical processes through data analysis, and investigate operational issues to ensure patient safety and compliance. Build a high-performing team by recruiting staff, developing action plans for change, and managing overtime and staffing schedules to prevent shortages. Facilitate throughput through early discharges and bed management, while conducting emergency preparedness reviews and ensuring equipment maintenance.
