RN Manager - NICU and Pediatric

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while supervising and directing nursing personnel across assigned shifts. Build high-performing teams by recruiting skilled staff, completing periodic evaluations, and coaching or disciplining as needed. Establish standards of care, monitor critical processes through audits and incident reports, and facilitate throughput via early discharge and bed management. Resolve patient care and operational issues, coordinate team conferences, and manage unit staffing including overtime authorization and monthly scheduling. Maintain a highly visible presence to ensure safe, complication-free care and optimize functional independence for each patient.
