RN Manager - NICU and Pediatric

RN Manager - NICU and Pediatric: Oversees a Level III NICU and pediatric nursing operations, leading the front-line nursing and ancillary staff to deliver safe, patient- and family-centered care. Builds and maintains a high-performing clinical team, conducts daily rounds with physicians and health-team members, coordinates care plans, and drives patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining skilled staff, supervising personnel, evaluating performance, coordinating schedules, managing overtime, and ensuring adequate staffing to support throughput and timely admissions/discharges. Collaborates with unit leadership, educators, and clinical staff to meet educational needs, implements action plans for improvement, and fosters open communication to optimize patient/family and physician satisfaction. Requires Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's preferred), RN licensure in the practice state, BLS certification, and leadership experience in acute hospital nursing; CPR/BLS and Basic Life Support are required by policy, with preferred national specialties in nursing administration.
