Job Summary
Manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for assigned Med Surg units. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements while conducting hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff. Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery by developing policies that guarantee efficient and effective health services. Monitor and adhere to budget guidelines, approving expenditures and purchases to ensure financial compliance. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner during day shift operations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, two years of RN experience with leadership responsibility, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility OR one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of leadership experience
