Job Summary
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver elder-centered care while ensuring smooth operational management at Providence Valdez Medical Center Long Term Care. Lead regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and quality improvement initiatives, including infection control protocols, while serving on the hospital executive team. Maintain a full-time day shift schedule in an on-site role within the Kodiak Island Long Term Care department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years Experience as an RN in a healthcare facility
- 1 year Long term care or related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Related to health sciences field
- Experience managing programs or staff in a healthcare setting
- Experience in human resource/organizational development and/or healthcare training
- Quality Improvement and Infection Control experience
