Job Summary
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver elder-centered care, ensuring smooth operational management and comprehensive quality improvement and infection control protocols at Providence Valdez Medical Center Long Term Care. Serve on the hospital executive team to drive regulatory compliance and operational excellence while upholding the Eden Philosophy and core values. Maintain a full-time day shift schedule in an on-site environment within the Kodiak Island Long Term Care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years Experience as an RN in a healthcare facility
- 1 year Long term care or related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Related to health sciences field
- Experience managing programs or staff in a healthcare setting
- Experience in human resource/organizational development and/or healthcare training
- Quality Improvement and Infection Control experience
