Job Summary
RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby leads a high-performing clinical unit, building and retaining skilled staff, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. Collaborates with physicians and department leaders to optimize clinical operations, drive patient/family/staff satisfaction, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Conducts rounds with health team members, oversees staffing and overtime decisions, coordinates education and professional development, and guides care plans and throughput to support timely admissions, transfers, and discharge. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, RN licensure in the state of practice, BLS, and AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS; master’s degree and leadership experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Required)
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy (Required)
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS (Required)
- Department Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
