RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care and monitor critical processes through audits and incident reports. Direct and supervise nursing personnel, including scheduling, assigning overtime, and completing monthly staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Build a high-performing team by recruiting, coaching, and evaluating staff while establishing standards of care and driving quality improvement initiatives. Investigate operational issues, facilitate team conferences to revise care plans, and prevent complications such as nosocomial infections. Maintain a highly visible presence on the unit to foster open communication and achieve goals for patient safety and satisfaction.
