Job Summary
RN Manager role overseeing a Mother-Baby/L&D unit, providing clinical leadership, supervising nursing and ancillary staff, coordinating daily unit operations, scheduling, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. Key duties include building a high-performing team, coaching staff, conducting rounds with physicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving patient/family satisfaction, and directing care plans and throughputs. Requires RN licensure in CA, Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's preferred), and leadership experience in acute care; strong emphasis on collaboration with physicians and healthcare leadership, and adherence to standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
