Job Summary
RN Manager for Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units leads a high-performing clinical team, ensuring safe, evidence-based, family-centered care; maintains visible leadership on the unit; collaborates with physicians, charge nurses, and department leaders; directs daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations; drives patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance; oversees education and professional development, and coordinates care plans with health team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
