Job Summary
RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby leads a high-performing clinical unit, supervising and coordinating the daily activities of nursing and ancillary staff, ensuring safe care, optimal patient outcomes, and staff development. Builds a strong clinical team, schedules and leads unit operations, collaborates with physicians and leadership, monitors care quality and compliance, conducts rounds and cares coordination, manages staffing and overtime, and works with educators to meet educational needs while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
