RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while directing and monitoring nursing activities to ensure safety and quality outcomes. Schedule unit personnel, manage overtime, and complete monthly staffing schedules to prevent short staffing. Build a high-performing team by recruiting staff, coaching individuals, and developing action plans for clinical improvements. Monitor critical processes through data analysis, audits, and incident reports to drive patient/family satisfaction. Establish standards of care and lead initiatives for early discharge and bed management. Engage in unit conferences to revise care plans and resolve operational issues.
