RN Manager - L&D, Mother-Baby

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while supervising and directing assigned nursing and ancillary personnel. Schedule unit activities, manage staffing levels including overtime authorization, and complete monthly staff schedules to prevent short staffing. Build a high-performing team by recruiting, coaching, and evaluating personnel, and engage staff in developing action plans for quality improvement. Monitor critical care processes through audits and incident reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and patient safety standards. Establish standards of care and facilitate early discharge strategies to improve throughput.
