Job Summary
RN Manager on the L&D/Mother-Baby unit leads a high-performing clinical team to deliver safe, patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include supervising nursing and ancillary staff, coordinating daily unit activities, scheduling, evaluating personnel, coaching and disciplining as needed, working with unit champions and educators, and driving improvements in patient safety, quality of care, and patient/family/staff satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with physicians and other leaders to ensure efficient and effective clinical operations and adherence to regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
- Essential Functions: Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff.
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting: Preferred
- One year's leadership experience: Preferred
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration: Preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing leadership experience
- Master's Degree preferred
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or nursing administration preferred

- CPR certification preferred
- Experience in acute care nursing
