Job Summary
RN Manager – L&D, Mother-Baby leads a high-performing nursing unit, supervising RN and ancillary staff, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, performance coaching, education planning with the clinical educator, collaboration with physicians and health-team members, rounds, and actions to improve patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance. Requires a BSN (Masters preferred), RN licensure in California, and BLS/NRP/NALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH/approved vendor: Required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
