Job Summary
RN Manager, Family Birth Center lead a team of front line nurses and ancillary staff to provide safe, whole-person care and optimize patient function. The role supervises and coordinates unit activities, builds a high performing clinical team, conducts rounds with physicians, ensures adherence to standards of care and regulatory requirements, and collaborates with staff and leadership to improve patient, family, and physician satisfaction. Responsibilities include scheduling, staff development, performance evaluations, addressing operational issues, coordinating care plans, managing overtime, and ensuring safe, efficient unit operations. Required education includes a BSN with RN licensure; a master's degree and leadership/acute care experience are preferred. CPR/BLS certifications are referenced as preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years' technical experience: Preferred
- One year's leadership experience: Preferred
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting: Preferred
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration: Preferred
