Job Summary
RN Manager at Adventist Health Portland oversees front-line nursing and ancillary staff on a defined unit to provide whole-person care that is safe and efficient. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, scheduling, collaborating with physicians and leadership, and driving patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include daily rounds with physicians, coordinating care plans, monitoring outcomes, staffing and overtime decisions, and developing educational plans to meet clinical needs. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and leadership experience in acute care nursing.
