Job Summary
RN Manager – Emergency Department (ED) responsible for overseeing day-to-day Emergency Department nursing operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards, leading staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization; supporting staff education and professional development; participating in quality and performance improvement programs; and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary departments to improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience
- Progressive leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years of ED Nurse Supervisor and/or ED Nurse Manager experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department environment preferred
- Prior experience in a busy trauma-designated facility required
