RN Manager - Emergency Department

Conduct daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate patient care, while supervising and directing assigned nursing and ancillary personnel. Schedule, lead, and coordinate unit activities on assigned shifts, completing monthly staff schedules and authorizing overtime as needed. Build high-performing teams by recruiting skilled staff, coaching, and evaluating personnel, while establishing standards of care and monitoring critical processes through audits and incident reports. Develop strategies to improve patient and physician satisfaction, manage bed throughput, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain a highly visible presence on the 254-bed acute care unit to optimize functional independence and safety for all patients.
