Job Summary
Direct nursing operations by anticipating census and acuity changes to allocate resources effectively. Manage staff activities, coordinate care across departments, and evaluate work for nursing, technical, and maintenance teams. Serve as a clinical resource for staff while providing direct care as needed. Lead recruitment, hiring, and training programs, and develop educational initiatives to meet staff needs. Prepare reports on program status and quality initiatives, and assist with organizational policy implementation. Ensure compliance with regulations and resolve customer complaints regarding resident needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current registered nursing license in State of facility
- Two years of registered nursing experience
- One year of prior experience with the population
- One year of charge RN or other administrative experience
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or higher
- Three years as a registered nurse
- Two years of prior experience as a registered nursing with patient population of the facility
- Prior experience as a house supervisor
