RN - Main PACU Nights

Job Summary
Collects and documents assessment data, develops patient Plans of Care, and administers medication following department standards. Evaluates patient progress toward desired outcomes, provides patient and family education, and coordinates transitions of care with clinic providers and fellows. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based nursing practices and ensures care consistency with regulatory requirements. Reports variances in care or systems through appropriate means and participates in staff recruitment and retention. Works night shifts in the Main PACU, providing direct patient care and supporting the integration of current evidence into nursing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience
- Current active Registered Nurse License
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
Desired Qualifications
- ICU, ED and/or PACU experience
- 2 years min. RN experience
