Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders in person, on the phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain professional knowledge in current nursing standards, laws, and regulations. This role offers a flex shift with weekend availability at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. Candidates must hold an Associate's or BSN degree, current Illinois licensure, and CPR certification, with previous OR experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
