Job Summary
Oversee wound care for residents by assessing, treating, and documenting injuries according to federal, state, and local regulations. Administer prescribed medications, implement care plans to promote healing, and consult with the Director of Nurses or attending physician regarding changes in resident conditions. Ensure preventative measures reduce pressure ulcer development and coordinate with CNAs to maintain resident well-being. Collect data for quality assurance reports and notify families of significant changes, while participating in the nurse manager on-call rotation. This weekend-only role requires a current nursing license and one year of healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
- current and valid license in the applicable State
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
