Job Summary
Provide compassionate pediatric home healthcare to medically-complex children, managing cases ranging from low to high acuity. Perform nursing procedures, assist with treatment and rehabilitation, and participate in assessment planning, implementation, and evaluation. Offer health counseling, emotional support, and parental education while coordinating care with physicians and other agencies. Maintain a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and operate an automobile with a current license to transfer patients between locations. Work flexible hours including 7:15am-3:00pm when patients attend school, with opportunities for extern training for new grads.
Required Qualifications
- Valid/Current Nursing License
- Valid/Current CPR Card for Healthcare Workers
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed
- Self motivator and require little supervision
- Operate an automobile with a current driver's license and current auto insurance
- Be completely mobile to life and transfer a patient from one location to another
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
