Job Summary
Perform nursing procedures for pediatric patients, including assessment planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans in collaboration with clinical supervisors. Provide health counseling, emotional support, and parental education while coordinating care with physicians and other agencies. Assist with patient treatment and rehabilitation using electronic charting systems. This role offers a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with flexible hours and a positive work environment. Children's Home Healthcare specializes in medically-complex pediatric cases ranging from low to high acuity. New grads may join the extern program for training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid/Current Nursing License
- Valid/Current CPR Card for Healthcare Workers
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed
- Self motivator and require little supervision
- Operate an automobile with a current driver's license and current auto insurance
- Be completely mobile to life and transfer a patient from one location to another
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
