Job Summary
The Resident Services Nurse (LPN) role involves supervising the Resident Services Department staff (including CNAs), assisting with the medication program and residents’ self-administration, supporting assessments and service plans, coordinating clinical assessments/recertifications per ALSA requirements, aiding in hiring and performance management, training and orienting new associates, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring high levels of resident and family satisfaction while maintaining safety and compliance. Strong communication with residents, families, physicians, and team members is essential; familiarity with ALSA requirements and post-acute/long-term care environments is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s).
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience.
- Experience in assisted living or long term care setting preferred.
- Experience and/or special interest working with seniors.
