Job Summary
Lead nursing care for patients on your shift by following the Comprehensive Care Plan and assisting the Unit Manager with accurate documentation. Supervise direct resident care personnel and ensure adherence to nursing policies, medication administration, and state regulations. Maintain professional appearance and behavior while fostering strong relationships with staff and residents. Complete pre-employment screening, physical examination, and pass all required background checks. Weekend option positions available in 8, 12, or 16-hour shifts. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Excellent clinical skills
- Confident as a healthcare professional
- Value the opportunity to develop relationships with co-workers and patients
- Licensed nurse in the State of Indiana
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana
- Able to work with a dedicated team
- Professional manner and appearance
- Nursing policies and procedures
- Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices
- Physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents
- Organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager
- Competent in supervision and leadership
- Caring attitude
- Observant
- Good judgement and emotional stability
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
