Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients on your shift, following the Comprehensive Care Plan and assisting the Unit Manager with accurate documentation. Supervise direct resident care personnel while administering medications and addressing physical, psychological, social, and medical needs of residents. Maintain a caring attitude and foster strong working relationships with staff and patients. Complete the pre-employment process, physical examination, and adhere to Indiana nursing licensure requirements. Work the weekend option/night shift from 6pm to 6am.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Excellent clinical skills
- Confident as a healthcare professional
- Value the opportunity to develop relationships with co-workers and patients
- Licensed nurse in the State of Indiana
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana
- Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
- Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
- Professional manner and appearance
- Nursing policies and procedures
- Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices
- Physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents
- Organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager
- Competent in supervision and leadership
- Caring attitude
- Observant
- Good judgement and emotional stability
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Weekend Option/Night Shift (6pm-6am)
