Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients on your shift by following the Comprehensive Care Plan and assisting the Unit Manager with accurate documentation. Supervise direct resident care personnel while administering medications and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain professional appearance and behavior while fostering positive working relationships with co-workers and residents. Complete pre-employment screening and physical examination to gain employment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Excellent clinical skills
- Confident as a healthcare professional
- Value the opportunity to develop relationships with co-workers and patients
- Licensed nurse in the State of Indiana
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana
- Able to work with a dedicated team
- Professional manner and appearance
- Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
- Knowledge of Nursing policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices
- Knowledge of Physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents
- Knowledge of Organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager
- Competent in supervision and leadership
- Caring attitude
- Observant
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good judgement and emotional stability
