Job Summary
Provide nursing support, rehabilitative needs, and preventative care to a small group of children at the ChildServe Center in a 1:3 ratio. Interact with the child and participate in fun activities while managing possible skills such as medication administration, g-tube nutrition, seizure management, and urinary cath care. Complete electronic documentation and MARS during your shift. Work PRN Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and Saturday from 7:00 PM to Sunday 7:00 AM, with one to two weekends per month.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid RN/LPN license in Iowa
- Valid driver's license with two or fewer violations in the past three years
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking the English language
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
- PRN
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Saturday: 7:00 PM – Sunday 7:00 AM
- One to two weekends per month
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children with special health care needs preferred
