Job Summary
Unit Manager Memory Care overseeing a nursing unit in a long-term care community; directs operations, manages care plans for residents with dementia, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include hiring, disciplining, and evaluating care staff; planning and facilitating meetings; ensuring staffing and budgetary alignment; contributing to programs for staff recruitment, development, and continuing education; coordinating physician interventions; monitoring clinical operations, medications, supplies, and medical records; orienting new personnel and ensuring appropriate procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an LPN or RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing
