Job Summary
Apply vocational nursing skills and techniques to patients on the assigned unit under Registered Nurse supervision. Perform assigned tasks related to patient care while complying with established healthcare system policies and departmental nursing mission. Plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care for patients by correlating the nursing process with the medical plan of care and policies. Maintain a State of Alabama Nursing License and BLS certification, with a preference for at least one year of experience in a medical surgical unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School for Licensed Practical Nursing
- Associate's degree in nursing
- State of Alabama Nursing License
- BLS certification
