Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care (wound care, IV therapy, catheter management), perform comprehensive health assessments including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications as prescribed with accurate documentation and monitor for side effects. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resident care and communicate with physicians and families. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents. Pre-hire health assessment and 4 panel drug screen are part of the process. Licensure in Iowa (RN or LPN) is required. Shift differentials and a $5,000 sign-on bonus offered based on experience; comprehensive benefits package available. Des Moines, IA-based on-site role (PRN/Part-time).
Required Qualifications
- State of Iowa RN or LPN license
- LTC experience preferred but not required
