Job Summary
Administer nursing care to patients of all ages, monitor and report changes in symptoms or behaviors, and educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention. Acquire vital signs, complete care plans, assist with clinical procedures, and administer medications and vaccinations while documenting accurate medical records. Submit prior authorizations for psychiatric medications and triage patient calls or urgent concerns via phone or in person to communicate needs to providers. Initiate emergency and crisis protocols if needed. Usual clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. Newly graduated nurses are welcomed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program
- Must have a current licensed practical nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to use and document in our Electronic Medical Record
- Team-oriented, detailed, and multi-tasker
- Usual clinic operating hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-2pm
