Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients in home settings while maintaining updated clinical records and adhering to state Nurse Practice Acts. Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care, consult physicians on care plan alterations, and educate patients and caregivers on care needs. Support the team by mentoring new employees during orientations and participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Submit required personnel documentation and complete all mandatory training assignments. Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate professionally with families. Requires an unencumbered RN or LPN license, one year of experience preferred, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Schedule includes varying shifts and potential weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- RN/LPN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN/LPN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensures Compact where recognized
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance in applicable states
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in-person instructor led hands on skills check
- Clear Hep B Screening in applicable states
- Clear TB Screening in applicable states
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50) pounds without an assisted lifting device
- The ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Availability on any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday
